WITH EFFECT FROM 1 OCTOBER 2007, THE GOVERNMENT OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC HAS DECREED THAT LEGALISATIONS AND PASSPORT RENEWALS CARRIED OUT BY ITS CONSULATES ABROAD WILL NO LONGER DISPLAY A NUMBERED INTERNAL REVENUE HALLMARK (PINK STAMP).
If
you are a British citizen you will only require a Tourist Card to
enter the Dominican Republic.
The
Nationals of the following countries do not require either a Tourist
Card or a Tourist Visa to enter the Domincan Republic
Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Israel, Japan, Perú, South Korea and Uruguay.
